Client Security

Free Forever. No obligation

The safety of our customer data is paramount and undoubtedly one of the most important security aspects of GraphicMail

Security breaches are a major, and growing problem for all internet companies and end users. Keeping your information safe is a highly specialised field, but most other businesses unfortunately put it at the bottom of their list of priorities.

GraphicMail has implemented processes not only to maintain the integrity of all data and to prevent loss of any data but at the same time ensure that list management and sending platforms continue to function optimally.

Frequently, hacking groups break into vulnerable sites by using simple techniques, directly attacking penetrable servers and looking for weaknesses in code

This is accomplished by our top of the range Cisco routers and firewalls. Cisco is the industry leader in network speed, security and reliability.

“Our application is written with malicious attacks in mind. We pro-actively contract external companies to conduct monthly attacks on our code to attempt to hack the systems and identify any potential loopholes. We also undergo a network audit every few months to make sure our security is in order.” - Ernie Retief, GraphicMail CTO

Data Center

Our datacenter is protected by the latest in technology. We have a setup that protects our entire infrastucture and that of our customers via:

  • Cisco Firewalls
  • Secure SSL Certificates
  • Daily Backups
  • Disaster Recovery Procedures
  • Private Racks
  • Redundant Hardware

Deliverability

One of the most important issues facing email marketing service providers (ESPs) today is undoubtedly the ability to deliver, or their "deliverability".

Due to a high proliferation of spam, Internet Service Providers (ISPs) have implemented strict policies for the sending of emails. The upkeep of a good reputation is therefore the key to success for any ESP. GraphicMail has developed a powerful engine which allows us to maintain delivery rates above 97%. Our engine monitors all activities of the sending servers and performs load balancing of different IPs. GraphicMail also vets each and every new client joining the network to ensure their lists and sending material meet our strict anti-spam policy. The verification process may seem a little like overkill at first glance, however as sending reputation has a direct impact on the deliverability and integrity of our network, these checks ensure spammers and scammers are kept out of our client base and 'your' sending and deliverability is rated on your individual sender score and not effected by their criminal activities.

Spam Monitoring

To protect and improve the reputation of our clients, we closely monitor every email sent through our infrastucture.

GraphicMail has developed a system to manage and control complaints efficiently; this means that any complainants for any email send are immediately added to your account blocklist and suppressed from any future sends, allowing our clients to keep their subscriber databases targetted and clean.

The number of complaints received influences the reputation of our clients - the more complaints, the worse the sender reputation. This means; the fewer complaints, the better a reputation our customers get, the better their delivery rates increase!

GraphicMail is a member of the internationally recognised ISP ReturnPath. This program facilitates the detection of "false positives", which are emails that have been mistakenly filtered as spam.
