MarketingSherpa's Email Marketing Benchmark Report 2010 recorded a surge in interest for social sharing features, which let subscribers post email content to their social networks.
GraphicMail has immediately responded to this trend by giving you the option to have your subscribers share email content through social widgets in your footer.
If you haven't yet added social sharing to your email newsletters, this is how it's done:
All you need to do is navigate your way into Settings >> Header/Footer settings (in the Advanced Mode) and click on the “Email Footer” dropdown. Select “Add social media links on all emails” and you’re done!
We have added the 6 major social sharing networks for now. Says Ruan Benade, GraphicMail designer: "We limited ourselves to these six as it is not advisable to clutter your email design with too many social sharing buttons, and our choice buttons represent the five most popular social networks at present." We might add a few more in the future since the social networking landscape is a constant flow!
Have your subscribers share your newsletter on Facebook, Twitter, DiggIt, MySpace, Delicious and Google Bookmarks.
